I need to reduce my grocery outgoings from Jan onwards from £110 to £90 /month (so £1320 down to £1080 for my annual budget :eek:) so I've got a couple of trial months to make sure I can do this... before having to do it in Jan...
So... that would leave me £1.22 for the rest this month if I'm sticking to the £90 limit. :eek: I don't actually need anything but I'm not sure I've ever managed to go 5 days without buying food unless I've been ill...

My first update for November. Have so far spent £23.20 Milk & More, MrT £81 and MrM £14.36. Total stands at £118.56/£400.
Don't normally go to MrM but took the children and our dog to the woods on Sunday and popped in to get some mint jelly for our roast, and some milk. Lots of good whoopsie offers, so ended up also buying 5 x breaded fish and chips for 59p each which we are having tonight. I'm on S/World but we have an extra mouth to feed until Thursday as my nephew is staying with us for the half term hols.
Also got a 1.5kg bag of carrots for 40p and 2 x dwarf beans for £1.50 which I thought pretty good. The bag of red potatoes ruined it though at £1.98 - why are potatoes so expensive!?!?!?!
The three children are going back onto school meals next week, so that's £107 out of this months' budget I need to allocate. Should be doable, as that only leaves breakfasts and dinners to pay for out of the rest.
