declaring at £350 thanks
going for £400 for october (5 week month)
thanks0 -
Sadly went over £120 this month- actually did all the main shopping for £100, leaving £20 for milk and bread top-ups etc but OH went out and bought loads of extra bits as didn't realise what was in the cupboards/freezer which pushed us well over! Don't even know how much by as didn't get the receipts! :-(
Going to try and rein him in during October- how does everyone manage with other members of the family??!! Do you count their spending in your budget?0 -
Good morning everyone,
hadn't planned anything today but just had a phone call to invite me on a trip to Costco (which is about 40mls away) I don't have a card of my own so this is a treat for me. No doubt will spend quite a bit, but have made a list to take with me and promise not to be silly with my impulse buying.
Congratulations to the people who are lucky enough to keep their jobs or find new jobs.:j It is good to hear some happy news re the job market during this recession.
Hope everyone else has a good dayIt takes a long time to eat an elephant and I'm doing it a bite at a time!!!0 -
Hi everyone - all budgets got, up to and including Sistercas - thank you
Well done on the job front to those who have managed to keep or get new jobs and well done to those of you who are feeling happy at sorting out their budgets, no-one fails on here we just have to re-look at what happened and move on, as long as we are learning then we are achieving!!!
My budget for October was going to be £300 but have realised that its another 5 week month, DH is still off work and there's another bloomin school hol so will have to up the budget to £350 again
