Tv licence terrible attitude and treatment.
For a few years now, I have taken out a tv licence to watch TV over Christmas, this year I took the licence out on the 21st December, and cancelled today. Instead of being able to cancel online you now have to call them and answer a series of questions on why you don’t want a license, simply saying you don’t watch TV is no…

View Sky F1 via BT TV
BT are offering me a TV package which includes Sky F1. I believe this comes through NOW TV. Is this the same as watching it on the Sky F1 dedicated channel. Or do they only cover the main event and not all the pre and post race programmes associated with a F1 weekend ?

What is the point of a mobile phone contract?
O2 recently decided to change the terms and conditions of my (18 month) contract, particularly with respect to roaming. Basically I can either cancel the contract or accept their new terms. I followed this up and apparently O2’s Mobile Contract Terms (Section 1.2) state that "while we aim to maintain contract terms as…

Just need some assistance I’ve received a letter today from TV license saying they’ve contacted me and I haven’t replied. However, they haven’t contacted me by post of email (I’ve double checked). Guarantee from Curry’s for a £500 QNED Samsung TV is only 3 months?
Just bought Samsung QNED TV from Curry’s in the shop, to discover, their own guarantee is only for 3 months, any problems after that you have to contact Samsung! Is this legal? I was always under the impression your contract & guarantee - usually a year, was with the retailer not the supplier? And that if things went wrong…

Temporary broadband for ten days while new connection is turned on
Hi all I am moving home end of the month but Sky will take about ten days to get our broadband up, meaning we have a little broadband shadow to fill. I have seen there are some temporary hire options, but the cost ran to about £100. Ideally I just want some pay-as-you go option for a few days. However, we will obviously…

'Skype Calling' has been discontinued
Hi all, I know that this thread is slightly off-topic, but there is no better forum to write it to. so I hope you will permit it. For those of you that are unaware, for years now, Skype has had a facility that lets you call phone numbers from the Skype apps or web page. To do this, you create/maintain a "Skype Credit".…
