Tesco mobile shutting down 2g
A duck duck smart search on the internet now tells me Tesco mobile will stop both 2g and 3g by the end of this year. This smart search uses AI to scan all relevant data to try and make some sense of the 2g confusion out there at the moment. My Samsung 2g is already playing up. Tesco says it is a dodgy SIM connection. I…

Is there a way I can check to see if my Nokia 216 (RM-1188) is 4G compatible? I keep getting messages from Tesco Mobile about the forthcomming 3G switch-off but don't know if it will affect me or not.

Lebara SIM Swap Fraud
For Lebara customers and potentially new customers, did you know they can do an instant SIM swap without any warning? I lost network on Tuesday evening, found out Wednesday they had done a SIM swap. Apparently my email has been hacked and someone filled in a form online. They don't text to verify it's a legit request, no…

Lebara sim swap fraud
Hello all I’ve had sim swap fraud occur on my Lebara phone number which I’m not longer able to access. I spent 4 hours with 3 different people this evening trying to get Lebara to do something about it. The first two brushed it off as an issue with my phone and nothing to do with them. Then I asked the third what SIM card…

SPUSU - WARNING!
I ported my number across to Spusu from Lebara as Lebara uses the Vodafone network and the 5g coverage is almost non existent. Seeing as Spusu run on EE, which I've never had a problem with in all the years I've used MVNOs, I thought it was a good move. How wrong I could be! Porting was smooth, no issues. The problem began…

RWG terminating all users on e-sim's without warning - zero notice cut off
My partner received a PAC code yesterday out of the blue. Alarm bells started as all the reasons that you look for this happening suggest it's part of "sim swap fraud" so whilst trying to contact RWG, a pointless exercise it seems, she went around changing all her passwords and 2FA contact number. The PAC code wasn't just…

Spusu only £2.90 a month, does this come with Wifi Calling ?
Currently on 1p Mobile mainly because it uses EE and has Wifi Calling, but just found Spusu deal at £2.90 a month, which means I save £2.10 a month, not much but better than nothing if otherwise the same as 1p. Does it come with Wifi Calling and any negatives compared to 1p Mobile ?

Anyone had any luck haggling O2 on their SIM-only deal?
Just spoke to O2 as they have raised my charges £13.10/month for 20GB/month (unlimited texts/calls). Technically it's 40GB/month because of my Virgin Media package. Tesco Mobile have their £12.50/month (with clubcard) offer which offers the same package but 60GB/month. O2 said Tesco's offer was a "fantastic deal" (there…

I am wondering if anyone has managed to transfer an eSim from one phone to another with Lyca? I spoke with customer services and she said I needed to buy another eSim for new phone and then somehow transfer old to new? Considering I have credit on the old esim and a deal which i bought literally 2 weeks ago this seems…

I am confused with how 1p Mobile PAYG works, any help ?
The company took £10 out of my bank account for a top up on 14th July, as part of their 2 monthly automatic top ups. Given I have only used 6 pence since the 14th how can I be down to £7.43 already ? Below are some pics, I really don't get it at all. Am I missing the obvious ?? The 6p is what I have used since last…

Lebara - Best way of getting back onto a MSE deal?
Hello, I've been with Lebara quite a while, and I'm now on their standard pricing. MSE tells me they're doing cheaper packages for new customers. Is my best option to port away from Lebara to a different network, and then go back after a month, or are Lebara happy to move existing customers onto deals? Thanks.

Used Mobile Resellers
Just over a year ago I bought a used Samsung mobile from a reseller on Ebay. After using it for a year, I decided to upgrade found an online recycler offering a good price for this model. I sent it into them but to my surprise they rejected it saying the phone had been repaired with an inferior screen. I haven't gone back…
