Lebara deals through MSE.
Hi all. I'm withO2 and been offered an inferior 'deal' to a newbie so am looking to leave and at least give another network a go. Only downside is losing Priority but I can live with that as I don't get that much from it. Example this week won 'a movie of my choice on Rakuten' Turns out it is a £4 voucher for a 'movie of…

SINCE YESTERDAY GETTING MESSSAGES SAYING I AM USING A LOT OF DATA
I have a Samsung mobile phone. Since yesterday I am getting messages saying I am using a lot of data particularly on FB. I called EE but the chap was more concerned in trying to get me to take EE for my broadband. I have 5 M it is saying at 2M at the moment. This chap told me to switch off Facebook when I am not using it.…

Roaming Withdrawn Mid-Use
We all have to live glued to our mobiles now. Not for old fashioned phone calls (I never do that) but for one-time-passcodes and two-factor-authentication in order to get anything done or paid for. So, sympathy please for this scenario in which I find myself: I have an MSE blagged Lebara SIM; it’s great, very cheap, 4Gb…

Tesco Mobile pay-as-you-go customer? Be prepared: it may push you to buy a bundle
Tesco Mobile is pushing its pay-as-you-go (PAYG) users to move to its new bundles. Failure to do so means paying for Tesco Mobile's standard PAYG rates, which it's hiked by up to 213%. If you're one of the 1.4 million users affected, it's worth looking at switching to a cheap monthly Sim instead – unless you just keep your…

Lebara - new plan question
OK, so I have a current MSE Lebara plan which is about to expire. If I click "Change Plan" in the Lebara portal their equivalent is £10 / month, but I noticed that there's a new MSE Lebara plan for £1 / month. So I bought one, used the same email etc, but I can't see how to change to it in the portal. Is it even possible ?…

MSE News: Ditched O2 after it hiked its price hike? Check you've not been wrongly charged
O2 has told some customers leaving the firm that they'll be charged £100s to cancel their contracts, while others have been asked to repay handset costs in full upfront. But this is WRONG. If you're affected by O2's price hike on a price hike, you were entitled to cancel your airtime contract penalty-free within 30 days of…

O2's hiking its prices – but you can use this to haggle down your costs
O2 is notifying customers that they can leave their contracts penalty-free because it's hiking its existing price rise. Up to 15.6 million O2 customers will see their bills rise by 40% more than they were told – something MoneySavingExpert.com (MSE) founder Martin Lewis is up in arms about. Read the full story: O2's hiking…

EE mobile - time for a change..
After trying and failing to get EE to reduce their £12 a month charge decided time to leave after 10 years - I think its 16gb data , unlimited text and calls rolling contract ... I need a reliable network connection as as I need to check prices and emails while on the move ... I have been looking at the EE "piggyback"…

Another spusu trouble spot: SMS codes
I've switched a couple accounts from RWG to spusu. This worked mostly well though spusu was unable to deliver the SIMs within a reasonable time frame: one took almost a week, the other never arrived and I had to call them and ask for a replacement. To their credit they sent another SIM 1st class which arrived two days…

What happens if Visa declines payment to Lebara?
Hi. I have a 30-day rolling contract with Lebara. What would happen if Visa declined payment? For example... a) If there were insufficient funds available in bank. b) If card is suspended because of suspicious activity. c) If card is lost/stolen and replaced with a new card with different number and security number. Has…

iD mobile and 3 network - a word of warning
Sim only with iD mobile - all OK until 2 days ago. Now no calls in or out. After an hour on 'Live Chat' they tell me my new 5G phone wont work on their network. ( I've got a new Fairphone 4 running Andriod 13). They claim it's to do with switching off the 3G masts. So, I'm off elsewhere. Shocking service and shocking lack…

Which Mobile phone to buy
My Motorola G7 Power is 8 years old and needs replacing. I have a limit of about £200 I use the phone for web browsing and emails/txt - not calling... I have looked at Blackview (rugged) 5G but am unsure I need a fingerprint scanner, decent camera, fast charging and a large battery.

Has anyone had a problem getting a Verification Code from Lebara?
We put my new Lebara SIM card in my phone and despite restarting the phone and inserting the SIM numerous times I am not receiving an activation code. We also tired to do it manually on the website with the new number and PUK code but it is saying my mobile number should be 10 digits which
is not correct as they are 11…

O2 Price Increase April 2026
Hi all, I'm 11 months into a 24m sim only contract with o2. I would like to get a new handset as I don't think my current one will stretch for another 13months, so I'm thinking I might cancel my current contract and get a handset&airtime contract instead. Can I do this and not have to pay the outstanding balance? I've seen…

Sim Only Lebara deal expiring today
I clicked the link to take up the Lebara 10GB monthly sim deal expiring today, it was 1.50 for 1-7months then 5.90 thereafter. I entered all my details, with the offer showing at the top of each page, but on the payment page the amount shown was 5.90. I went through the same process a 2nd time and made the payment anyway,…

Envirofone
Hi all, Has anyone used Envirofone recently? I’ve noticed they seem to be under new ownership and the site looks like it’s had a bit of a refresh. I’m curious whether anyone here has traded in or bought from them since the change, and what your experience was like - prices, payment turnaround, customer service, that sort…

Giving SIM to a family member - possible to change the number?
Sorry, perhaps not explained very well in the title. I currently have a £1 a month Sky Sim. Unlimited calls/ text. I've out grown this and want more data. But this current sim plan would be ideal for my dad. He only needs calls and texts and I have never seen another contract so cheap. Is there any way that I can change…

spusu do not support short code dialling - for your info if considering a switch.
so your 159 bank fraud or 7726 for spam or similar things are not accessible.
