Using a new SIM while waiting to request a PAC after switching networks?
Hi everyone,
I was previously with Lebara and transferred my mobile number to Three. The number was transferred today. I want to switch back to Lebara because of a great deal
I’ve already bought a new Lebara SIM, which I want to transfer my original number onto. However, when I tried requesting a PAC from Three by texting 65075, I received a message saying there was a technical fault.
I called Three customer services, and they told me that because my number only transferred to Three today, I need to wait before requesting a PAC.
My questions are:
- Can I use my new Lebara SIM in the meantime, even though it has a temporary number?
- Will using my new Lebara SIM affect my ability to request a PAC from Three tomorrow?
I want to keep my original mobile number, but I’d like to use my new Lebara SIM while waiting rather than continue using Three which has no plan at the moment.

- Yes.
- No.
You can use the temporary number until your number ports over.

Yes I do this all the time.
I put both sims in my phone and then tell my phone which one I want it to use for each of calls, messages and Internet.
