Lebara Terrible Customer Service

Switched to Lebara in May 2026 and had nothing but months mistakes, double charges, wrong charges, wrong invoices, compounded errors and truly appalling 'customer service'. It's like they do it on purpose. Agents openly lie saying they'll send confirmation which never arrives or they can see the problem, will fix it but then double charge me! They disconnect when there's any kind of problem for them to correct. It's so bad I'm now wondering if Lebara is some kind of fraud.

Sorry you're having a bad time with lebara - sharing a few more details around your issue may enable others to assist here.

While your experience is undoubtedly awful, they're definitely not a fraud. I've had nothing but good experience with them, as have many others:

Never had to use their CS but then I've never had an issue.

I see you started another thread that claims the refer a friend is a scam, since it's a rolling monthly deal why not just leave?

My wife and I have used Lebara for several years now and have nothing but good service from them.

Lebara has been excellent for me. I recently switched from a physical SIM to an eSIM and the process couldn't have been easier, instructions from Lebara were clear and correct.

I had trouble getting a refund after I'd left. A guy said he'd authorised it but I he obviously hadn't. I complained on trustpilot and got it back with extra that way.

Been with Lebara since early 2026 with no issues. My elderly cousin joined at the same time - his first mobile contract. He made an initial mistake in paying for an e-sim rather than a physical card, but when he asked me what that meant I told him to ring CS & within minutes they reversed the transaction, then used the credit to pay for an actual SIM which he received 2 days later. He was happy & I was impressed with Lebara's support.

I don't think these days anyone finds any service or support to be 100% positive, but sometimes it depends on how you pursue a complaint. Perhaps the OP can enlighten us as to exactly what has happened.
