Lebara SIM only does not work
There are other similar threads on this site on problems with Lebara, but as I still see "MSE Blagged" for the Lebara SIM only deal on https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/ I'm creating a new thread hoping Money Saving Expert website admins will sort that out. It seems Lebara does not offer a 5G…

Problems with EE Talk and Text tariff.
I've had an EE Talk and Text plan for years, renewable at £1 a week. It normally renews every Monday, not so today. I've rung EE to query why not. I was told there is apparently a fault. However, the helper I spoke to told me that if she were to update my account manually, it would mean I would be on a more expensive…

Flex pay from EE- wierd
Hi Just a quick one but with EE they seem to now offer 'flex pay' which is you have a DD for the phone and a DD for the plan. However the default option is for the phone to be on a 36 month contract and most plans are 24. Meaning after 24 months you can upgrade the plan but not the phone? I bet people will not realise this…

Do I pay if it is not within my bundle. SKY Mobile.
I have a bundle with Sky mobile for £2 a month that I use to enter competitions with 033 numbers which are within my bundle. What would happen if I called a number that was not within my bundle, such as a 5 digit number that cost £2 plus network charges, would it go through and be added to my £2 direct debit or would it…

ID mobile Bill Capping advice.
Looking to change from EE to cheaper provider but still use the EE signal . I am currently paying £12 for unlimited texts / calls plus for 32gb . My concern is when I went to sign up to the ID mobile and set the bill capping to zero get the warning " By selecting £0 monthly cap some services will be unavailable,…

Lebara Contact Form Not Working
We've got an ongoing Vodafone outage (36 hours and counting) and wanted to talk to Lebara to see if they had any idea how long it was going to last. I tried talking to a human but got a person in an Asian call centre who didn't seem to understand English. So I tried the online contact form. When I described the problem the…

Help me choose a network
Hi everyone, I am new to the MSE Forum and this is my first thread. My contract with TescoMobile has come to an end but for the time being they have put me on a 30 day monthly rolling contract at the same price/data. I have been with a fair few networks and I have had issues with quite a lot of them. Some I switched from…

EE are moving existing "CPI" customers over to pounds and pence
Just an FYI, as I can't see a discussion on this - EE are moving existing customers over to their fixed amount rises. I've just had an email through myself. Long time monthly plan, way out of minimal term so I presume they can do what they want. Currently paying EE £10.50 a month for a simple service with CPI+3.9 (i think)…

Buying a refurbished phone
I am looking at buying a refurbished phone listed as 'very good condition' (This product is in very good cosmetic condition with only light signs of use. It has been fully tested and works perfectly.) I have read the guide about buying refurbished phones and would like to know, what to look for regarding warranty, etc ? as…

I want a cheap Sim only contract for emergency second phone.
I work regular 12hr nights. I usually turn off my 'phone when I am in bed and if anyone really needs me they ring on the landline. The problem is, after changing broadband provider we don't have a landline. I want a sim only deal that I can use in my old mobile so my family can get in touch if need be. I want one that…

Report Overcharging Issue with Lebara 3GB MSE Exclusive Monthly Plan
I recently signed up to the above plan for £0.99. But as soon as the automatic renewal kicked in, I was charged £4.40 rather than the MSE deal price. It took me a couple of months to realise I was overcharged. I rang up and got a refund. Apparently, there is a technical glitch in their system. So do check your payment…

Tesco Mobile pay-as-you-go customer? Be prepared: it may push you to buy a bundle
Tesco Mobile is pushing its pay-as-you-go (PAYG) users to move to its new bundles. Failure to do so means paying for Tesco Mobile's standard PAYG rates, which it's hiked by up to 213%. If you're one of the 1.4 million users affected, it's worth looking at switching to a cheap monthly Sim instead – unless you just keep your…

Mobile Coverage Maps Are Lying About City Centres
Across the UK, mobile coverage maps (including the MSE checker using Ofcom data) often show excellent coverage in city centres. Phones back this up by displaying strong 4G/5G signal — so everything appears fine. The real issue is congestion. In busy areas, mobile data can become effectively unusable even though the signal…

Anyone else feel they might have been 'mis-sold' EU Roaming by EE?
I bought into a mobile phone contract with EE a year or so back and part of the attraction being ' EU Roaming' After being in a EU country last autumn and none of my unlimited UK data being available to me, I had to buy a 'pass' from EE for the duration of the stay to 'roam' (ie use my data) When I returned I was told that…

Who uses Lebara as their main provider?
I'm currently on BT mobile and the 'discounted' price (£5 off for being a broadband customer) is £5.70 per month, with only 1Gb data and no international calls. Moving to Lebara looks to be more economical, but what, if any, are the downsides? Who uses Lebara as their main provider and do you have any problems at all?

Tesco Mobile - 3G shutoff and 4G (LTE) phones are still compatible
I have a question regarding the 3G shutdown and Tesco Mobile.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A10 Phone (purchased through TM). I went to the Tesco Mobile website page
support.tescomobile.com/customer/voltecalling just to double check whether my
phone will still be compatible with the TM network when the 3G signal is
shutdown. On…

Spusu and EU roaming
I've recently activated my Spusu SIM and most things work as expected. One thing that's not clear is what they mean when they talk about EU roaming. I've now talked twice to their CS and they don't seem to know more about that I do. They gave conflicting information and they gave me prices that I can't find in their price…

Victim of Impersonation... O2 / Lowell say otherwise....
Hello, I'm looking for guidance on anything that I am missing to fix this ongoing saga / absurd situation. Last July, a number of mobile phone accounts and device plans were opened using my name and address. No money ever left my account. I only discovered this when returning from holiday "welcome" letters from Vodafone…

VOLTE and wifi calling on 1pmobile
I am currently with EE and wifi calling and VOLTE work well on my quite old Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. EE have increased my bill so I want to leave and move somewhere cheaper. I know VOLTE isnt very good on older phones with some MVNOs (spusu?), how does the VOLTE work for others on older phones on 1pmobile? Thanks
