Cannot get pull down menu to work

Hi Guys

I have a samsung galaxy fold 5 my problem is that i get a clear page when i pull down the menu at the top of the phone where the things you can turn on or off like wifi, air plane mode, buletooth, turn the sound off and on.

It use to work fine then all of a sudden it just stopped working anyone else had this trouble and if so how did you fix it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

From a quick Google it appears to be a known software glitch. Have you restarted the phone and checked for any current updates?

Yes my phone is all upto date Android version 16 one ui 8.5 Was hopeing i would get Andriod 17 soon and it would sort the problem out to be honest its a bit of a pain not working,

I did think it was a software problem being never had any trouble with the phone since new been a really good phone.

have you tried swiping from top right hand corner towards the middle of the screen diagonally?

its called the Quick Settings Panel.

If it’s completely blank then try a soft reset. Press and hold the side key and the volume down key until the phone restarts. You wont lose any data.

If it’s not completely blank because you can see the pencil icon, then touch the pencil to see if you can edit the layout.
