Just to update this Fonehouse did cancel the order for the Pixel 10a as they'd run out of stock. But also phoned me up to apologise and offered a Pixel 10 for an extra £30 up front but the same monthly cost. For me this was a good deal and fair play to them for making it right. I'll land up with a better specced phone, with guaranteed updates for 6 years, that will save me £400 over the 2 years of the new contract compared to buying it outright and having a SIM only deal. It's also £250 under my budget for getting a new phone so a pretty good deal overall and a better phone then I was expecting to land up with. Just need it to last the 5 years my current one has now.

Hello,

Has anyone else signed up for the offer from Fonehouse on the Google Pixel 10a from the weekly MSE email?

I actually signed up on Sunday the day before the email came out and it was all showing as in stock with next day delivery. "Great" I thought. The next day I got an email saying they are temporarily out of stock and haven't heard anything since. I notice this morning they have finally removed the 256mb option from their webshop.

Has anyone had a similar issue with them and had the phone actually arrive?

I’ve seen a few similar stock issues with popular phone offers. Hopefully Fonehouse get the next batch in soon and honour the original orders. I’d definitely chase them for an update rather than cancelling if you still want the phone.

I've just emailed them to see what's happening as it's been four days now.

    ****Update*******

The email bounced back as their mailbox is full which isn't a great start.

Chatted to someone on their webchat. Apparently the Pixel 10a 256mb is end of life and no longer available. That is absolute BS as it was only released in March and is still available direct from Google and isn't expected to be replaced until at least spring next year. Apparently they're checking with their supplier if they have any left in stock which will take 24-48 hours. I suspect this will land up being cancelled.

Not happy as they had it still for sale until at least Tuesday so that's three days selling something they didn't actually have stock for and can't source. And I've now missed the bank holiday weekend offers that were on.

I certainly won't be using Fonehouse again and disappointing that a company recommended by MSE in their weekly email have such a poor service. First time I've had this happen with an MSE recommendation.
