4G signal but no data (internet)
I'm on ID Mobile which is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) on the Three network. Despite an apparently good 4G signal I frequently experience difficulty in getting any data (internet connection) at all. Do you have this problem too? After a long chat with an AI service to try to understand how cell data connections…

Quick question re: GiffGaff or similar PAYG
Hi all, I'm wondering if there are any PAYG sims that have a very infrequent requirement to top them up. I just need one so I can use my back-up phone in 2 step verification. Don't want a couple of sites linked to my regular number for personal reasons, but also can't be topping up a spare handset with £10 every month when…

iD Mobile free roaming?
The iD Mobile (SIM only) plans in the MSE Cheap Mobile Finder now all seem to say "No roaming" and "No free roaming", which I'm pretty sure they didn't last time I looked at it just a couple of days ago. Is this a mistake, or has something actually changed in the last few days? The iD Mobile website still seems to say…

Lebara switching Sim only plan - Deals only available to new customers
With Lebara (not for much longer!) and needed more data pm so looked on a price comparison site - Lebara was the competitive and as I was already with them gave them a call. Operative was very apologetic but apparently they cannot give any deals to existing customers, and if you order a Sim from the price comparison site…

Leaving o2 airtime
In January o2 emailed me to inform they were changing my contact and they were removing switch up every 3 months and moving to every 11 months. The email informed I could cancel the airtime and continue to pay the phone. After 3 or 4 calls telling them I could do this and the airtime was cancelled and the person I spoke to…

O2 Price Increase April 2026
Hi all, I'm 11 months into a 24m sim only contract with o2. I would like to get a new handset as I don't think my current one will stretch for another 13months, so I'm thinking I might cancel my current contract and get a handset&airtime contract instead. Can I do this and not have to pay the outstanding balance? I've seen…

Leaving O2
Hi all. I thought this would be a happy/successful chat after following ML advise and one I was looking forward to report. But. alas, it is not happening: After so many years with O2, the only nerwork I've used, and all the media reports on O2, I wasn't sure about moving on but recent merge with Virgin Media and the…

Who is legally responsible to network unlock a mobile phone? (network provider or manufacturer)
I have an ongoing
dispute that is going to the small claims court and the underlying
defence from Vodafone is that it is down to the manufacturer to provide a
"network unlock code". Samsung deny this and I fear that in
court Vodafone's defence could be allowed. Does anyone here
know and if there is anything that could be…

EE Dirty Tricks?
My husband just signed up for an MSE recommended sim only monthly plan with Lebara.. Good deal, free roaming and 10gb data. He applied for his EE PAC code and today EE rang him to offer him an improved deal with them ( not as good as Lebara) but also warned him that if he went over his data allowance with Lebara they would…

recharging
i have read a few times that i should adjust the settings on my phone by doing two simple things. This would mean i don't have to charge every day. Being sceptical to all "interference" i have tended to ignore this suggestion as "interfering for their gain( doing what they suggest may open pandora's box. But curiosity…

EE or SPSU ?
Was thinking of leaving EE for spusu until they offered me a good deal on retention at £6 for 20gb … I can pay £6.90 for SPUSU which has EU Roaming. I need a reliable service as I do online live bidding while on the move so cant lag etc - would the service be the same ?. I rarely go overseas so EU roaming should not be an…

Mozillion and OTP texts
I am considering moving to Mozillion because of the EE backbone. I'm aware that some users on Spusu (also an EE MVNO) have a problem receiving OTP codes, especially it seems, if they are using an eSIM. Can anyone on Mozillion comment on whether OTP's are working OK for them? Thanks.

EE third party carrier's
My Vodafone contract is almost finally up. I wish to move back to EE. But are third-party EE carriers worth while 1p mobile looks a good price cheaper than what my Vodafone price is now. Is there any real advantages of being with a main network? I'm just getting frustrated with Vodafone signal in certain locations.

Mobiles.co.uk
I have been using mobiles.co.uk for a few years. It's come to the time to upload my third bill for the next cashback cheque, but when I click submit, it shows the green upload bar and then nothing happens - the page stays the same and I can't submit the claim. Anyone else having this issue?

Charged for MMS
I received a WhatsApp message with a short video and replied with a short message. I received my first bill from Asda Mobile as I only took out the contract with them recently and it showed a charge of 25p for a MMS. I need to say at this juncture that I am 81 years old and not a fan of the necessary evil called a mobile…
