Any suggestions for a UK based VoIP provider, simple requirements are:
- Single User (single SIP trunk)
- Multiple endpoints (say two)
- Two incomming numbers

Yep but they do not allow multiple endpoints, to have say three phone extensions around the house would mean paying three times the price as requires three users.DullGreyGuy said:We've used VOIPfone for years, not aimed at domestic but where we've used it anyway0 -

Option 1 you use a cordless system so technically there is just one end point, ours can support up to 6 handsets but others can support up to 10.
Option 2 is with extensions... technically £1.50 per extra extension after the first but the system doesn't stop you having more than one end point logged onto a single extension however ringing on shared extensions (ie inbound calls) can have issues, outbound calls won't. We used to have 3 extensions (ie paying for 2), one for home with the cordless system, an one each for mobiles. We get so few inbound calls however so stopped one extension and Home and my mobile is now on the same extension.1 -
Have you checked Andrews and Arnold? They are probably the most efficient provider at present.RomfordNavy said:Any suggestions for a UK based VoIP provider, simple requirements are:- Single User (single SIP trunk)

Have just tried adding an extra extension via their control panel but they charge an extra £5/mth for that not £1.50.
Edit2:
Voipfone confirm ahat "unable to mix and match different plans on an account"
However they have now suggested "use the master account info to log into another device."0 -

Now got two numbers registered to the same account (£8/mth), both set to ring 'Master' group and two extensions, one logging on as Master, the other logging on as Extension. Seems to work just fine.

I have the same issue as you, but I don't quite understand your setup. If you have two extensions, one logging on as Master and the other as Extension, don't you have to pay an additional £5/mth? Otherwise I would have thought you had to log on both extensions in the same way.RomfordNavy said:As you said, having multiple endpoints logged onto the same user works! I pay extra £3 per month for the second telephone number but only one lot of £5.0 -
Have a look at Vonage for home.1
