Manhattan T3-R or T4-R or an alternative?

Hi.
Looking for a TV recorder. Ease of use is important, and being able to scroll back to previous days to 'catch up', so Freeview Play or equivalent.
Two recordable channels tobesure tobesure.
On-demand services like iPlayer etc (via WiFo or Ethernet, doesn't matter) would be a nice addition, tho' we already have this on the TV.
So, Manhattan or an alternative? (Mil has the Manhattan T3-R and it looks a doddle to use.)
Thanks.

Have you not contacted your Legal Protection on you insurance for advice? ☺️ ☺️

Freely maybe an option as there is meant to be a PUK/plug in device so no need for a TV with Freely. Meant to be out before Xmas.

Freely doesn't record but has all the (I think) catch up apps in one place so I think you input your log in details once and then it remembers it so you don't have to keep inputting them.

Have a look here for info on the recorder you mentioned and the website has some good information also.

    Tee-hee :-)
Thanks, that was useful info. The Manhattan seems to be as good as it gets, so the ideal candidate. The T4 is faster, and has a slightly better menu layout and appearance - that's about it.
I'll quickly check out the main competitors before deciding.
    Thank you.

    Thoughts on Humax Aura, please?
It has Freeview Play, phone App, good sound.
(Not bothered about Netflix - I can get that on the TV if ever needed).
    Thanks.
