Poor VM Renewal Offer
My Virgin deal ends in about a week. I'm currently paying £64pm for M500M broadband, Mixit (free) TV, and Line Rental with Anytime Chatter. A friend has a better deal than mine, so I know it's possible. My renewal price will be over £100pm.I think I can get similar from Sky for £53, including Netflix, or £59 for ad-free…

switching from analogue to digital
OK - I know this is happening and while I don't understand it from a technical point of view I'm sure I'll figure it out when I need to. What I don't understand is the company that's trying to get me set up. So I've had a couple of phone calls. Some have been right out rude. If I say I can't talk as I'm about to leave for…

O2 Right to cancel
On 11th November last year I got a price increase e-mail from O2, as I objected to it I exercised by right to cancel within 30 days and I requested to continue to pay my device plans by instalments as the e-mail stated I could. They did not set this up correctly for my Apple Watch and I got a bill for over £500. I…

Sky locked me into contract against my wishes
Any advice on what I can do here would be appreciated! My previous contract with Sky TV ran out in June/July last year, so I went onto a rolling monthly deal. In August 2024, I called them up to ask if I could move onto the Sky Signature package only, and they agreed to do this for a discounted price. I said at the time…

Can my son watch iPlayer at my home?
I don't have a TV licence anymore and don't need one but because of my fast internet connection my son, who does have a TV licence, will occasionally bring his laptop to my house when he visits and watch iPlayer programs at my home. Does his TV licence cover him watching iPlayer away from home at my home?

He came back with a quote for Sports pkg and fibre…

Migrating from BT to other internet and phone providers - FTTP (full fibre)
(Sorry if this is a well trodden path, but I have searched for a quite a while, and nothing quite covers my questions.) 'We notice you've been using iPlayer?' email after watching iPlayer at parents house
I don't have a TV license as I don't watch live TV or iPlayer at my home address. I made a declaration to say I didn't need a TV license. Occasionally I will watch iPlayer on my laptop or playstation using my iPlayer account *at my parents house*, which is covered by a TV license. However, I've started to get emails from…
