Sky Stream vs Sky Q
Hello, I have always had Sky Q and have like the ability to pre-record TV and fast forward adverts, etc. I understand Sky now do Sky Streaming service and sounds as though they are trying to encourage customers away from Sky Q. Although I note you can still request Sky Q over the phone. Sky Stream is £15 vs £35.50 for my…

Now TV offers
My Now TV entertainment pass went up to £9.99, so I did the usual and tried cancelling expect them to give me an offer, but nope they just cancelled. Is there anyway to get a new Now TV entertainment pass at a good price now, as it seems like the old ways to get it cheap have all gone.

Humax Aura PVR problems?
The otherwise excellent Humax Aura PVR is notoriously buggy, the most common of which is probably the frequent unprompted rebooting. I’m now finding that it won’t record anything but BBC on SD channels - though that doesn’t seem to be the case with HD. Anyone else noticed this? Started a few days ago.

TV Package and Installation - help!
Hi all, I’ve just bought a house and I’m struggling to work out the best way to get Sky Sports and TNT Sports without ugly cabling everywhere. The TV has to go on an internal living-room wall, roughly in the middle of the downstairs. That’s where the issue starts: Sky Q / satellite: The dish would need to be on the back…

Cancelling Sky TV
Hi. I’d been paying for Sky for my Mum using her address but my name. I had just renegotiated a reduced contract 2 months before she passed away. Because the contract is in my name they are insisting that I pay basically the remainder of the 13 months of the contract. The house will be sold shortly and I live in France so…

Does anyone know if the "ITVx Premium" service monthly half price discount still works?
From what I understood from the MSE boards, if you subscribed to ITV Premium on a rolling monthly basis, and then cancelled renewal at the end of the month, you would get the "Are you sure?" page and then be offered half price for the next 3 months. I tried this and it did work previously. This meant the first month was at…

Sky apparently no longer selling Sky Q to new customers!
If you go to https://www.sky.com/tv/sky-q you used to be able sign up as a new customer to get satellite TV from Sky with a Sky Q box. Now on that web page it says:We've unplugged Sky Q. Plug in Sky Stream for less. Sky Q is no longer available to buy online. But you can take your viewing to the next level with Sky Stream…

Interested to see if anyone on a supposed legacy system like Sky Q has got offers. Im not hopeful as regards my own case.

Backdated TV licence refunds for over 75's
I was unaware of the free TV linces for over 75's and am now 78. They are refusing to backdate 3 years worth of overpayment. Only the few months worth of this year when I applied.. When I suggested going to small claims, the answer was we will fully defend it and you will be liable for full costs. I was also informed that…
