End of Eurosport in the UK... Milking fans of minor sports?
I'm an avid cycling fan and love watching the various races throughout the year. A few years ago this was through a subscription to GCN+ for around £70 a year. GCN+ was then discontinued by Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD)and the only option was to subscribe to the Discovery+ Standard Package. Originally they offered an…

Sky Q too expensive - recommendations?
Hi, we are paying Sky £145 a month (after negotiation) for fibre broadband (which constantly drops and they can't find the issue), a free telephone package (we don't use the phoneline except for the broadband, no phone plugged in), a sky signature, multi room, sky Q, sky cinema (not fussed with this). We've decided the…

Should I ignore or reply to a TV license letter?
I don't watch live TV, just Netflix and Youtube etc. Recently got a letter from the TV license addressed to "the occupier". Should I (a) ignore it, (b) fill in a 'don't need TV license' form, or (c) fill in the form but with a fake name and contact details? What is most likely resulting in me being left alone?

Cancelling tv licence
About to cancel my licence with the online form, do I have to fill in my name and email address on the form, or can I just fill in the licence number and leave the rest blank, as I’ve been told if tv inspectors turn up at your door they ask for your name, and you can refuse to give it

SkyQ & TNT Sports
We currently have SkyQ with Signature, SkySports, Cinema, Netflix & Multiroom and are thinking of getting TNT Sports for the cycling season. I don't particularly want to move away from using SkyQ, so wanted to know if anyone has managed to get a deal or discount for the cost of adding TNT to their package, or do Sky just…

Sky TV - never negotiated and time to leave?
We’ve had Sky TV package for several years since moving house and as far as I can remember, never truly haggled. I think our contract went up £3 pcm last year and it’s due to go up another £4 pcm shortly. We are away for 6 weeks this week so was thinking (a YouTube video this morning has triggered this question) if Im out…

MSE News: Got Sky TV? Why you still can't cancel penalty-free if it hikes your price mid-contract
If you've got Sky TV, Sky can put your price up during your two-year contract without telling you what rises to expect before you sign up AND without letting you leave penalty-free. Thought this kind of thing was supposed to be banned? So did we. But our investigation can now reveal that Sky is exploiting a surprising gap…

Now TV offers
My Now TV entertainment pass went up to £9.99, so I did the usual and tried cancelling expect them to give me an offer, but nope they just cancelled. Is there anyway to get a new Now TV entertainment pass at a good price now, as it seems like the old ways to get it cheap have all gone.

TV Licence costs
Do you have to pay for a full ears TV licence no matter when you get it? I got a TV licence in December after moving from a property that had a TV licence. The site says the TV licence lasts for the month you buy it in and the next 11 months but mine doesn't it only lasts till April. In April my license renews and I pay…

Amazon Firestick 0r Roku
I have sky, with Netflix 'attached'. Two friends state that with Firestick they pick up "everything" without resorting to subscriptions or a dodgy mate to 'put things on it' This cannot be true anymore can it? I dug out my old firestick (doggy mate from 8 yrs ago/kept buffering...) and can get onto amazon, but nothing…

Netflix with Ads experiences
I'm trying to reduce my monthly entertainment bill and can no longer justify paying £12.99 per month for the standard plan when the with Ads plan is £5.99. What are your experiences with this plan, are the adverts constant and as I suspect really annoying or are they just one or two at the beginning of a show?

Options to Stream Freeview without Aerial
Hi, My virgin media contract is up and the various price offers I've had from them for a new contract are still stupidly high so looking to leave them. TV isn't hugely important now as most of the things we watch is from on demand or catchup services, however occasionally we do watch the odd bit of live tv so would ideally…

Sky HD
My sky hd pack has just increased to £9 a month - I know I had it on offer till now, but £9 just to watch HD doesn't seem VFM for me. I understand that if i cancel I can't then watch HD channels, but they also say i can't watch anything that i've recorded in HD - how can that be so when I was paying for the channel when I…

DAZN account
More fool me. I wanted to watch boxing one Saturday night. DANZ appeared to be the best option. Signed up. And cancelled the next day. Then I see payment is still being taken. Thought I had not cancelled correctly. But I had. Only to find I have cancelled an Annual account and will have to pay for about another ten months…

TV Licence repeats
I noted that in the last two weeks BBC 4 on Friday had a full complement of REPEATS... it appears this coming Friday is the same. I note also that BBC 2usual content currently is approx. 80-90% REPEATS all day. BBC1 is close behind and if you delete Soaps and News (which is repeated daily) there is so little left that you…

Quality of Apple TV/iTunes TV shows potential purchase - Frasier Boxset versus Paramount versus 4
Looking for advice on the TV show Frasier of 11 seasons. I heard that Frasier (the 1990s series) was being/has been remastered in 4K. Apparently it became available in the US in 4K on the Paramount Plus streaming service though I do not know whether on 4K Bluray. And I hear that Paramount Plus now offers 4K streaming in…
