Premier Sports rip off offer!
I signed up to Premier Sports on wednesday morning to take advantage of their offer to watch the rugby league world cup live! It was a monthly flex offer to get three months for the cost of one at £18.99. I had been sent a promotion code by email from the 'Our League' app as i'd previously paid to watch a game not covered by sky about 18 months ago. I was asked did i want to watch via my Sky Q box which i did but when i keyed in the code it was'nt recognised by their system. I then got hold of what i thought was a generic code from a club forum. I keyed that in and it progressed. But it was only to the monthly flex offer and not the get three months for the price of one! I used the HELP facility on the Premier sports website and got an AI generated response. Then i got an email from a person on wednesday night asking me to reply with the codes i used to try to secure the offer which i then did! I even sent the original email i received from Our League. But ive heard nothing since! Ive just been back on the HELP section of Premier sports and had to go through everything again with it asking me what the complaint is about, do i want to link it with the previous complaint, what do i want to happen etc! The thing is they only allow 30 days in advance to cancel my subscription and now i'm on day 29 as my next payment is supposedly due on 14th November! Will i hear from them again? What can i do if i dont hear from them?

Hardly a rip off if you used a "generic code from a club forum" which wasn't specific to the offer you wanted.
You should've contacted them when the first code failed to work and not blindly continued on.
It's a case of wait and see, nobody here can second guess the outcome.2 -
Why do people put the word "scam" in the title when it's no such thing? Are they expecting more sympathy?
"I then got hold of what i thought was a generic code from a club forum.", entirely your fault I'm afraid.

A couple of clever clogs i see! 100% it wasnt my fault and using the second code is what anyone else would have done to try to make it work! My genuine code didnt work, the generic one was for exactly the same offer, i wasnt trying to cheat their system

Not sure but from some chatter online it seems that the £18.99 for three months deal might only work when you sign up direct with Premier sports, so not via Sky or Prime Video.
Whether that means that you would then be able to watch via Sky I've no idea. I watch Premier via their app loaded onto a smart TV.

Bit harsh, especially when the only use of the word 'scam' is your own.

Thanks for the reply! Dyou mean signing up on the Premier sports website itself? If so then , yes, i did do! Ive put in place a CPA on them from my bank this morning! It will be interesting if i get a reply from ''Michael'' of Premier sports on Monday to see if he has done as promised and activated the special offer with their own code as their promise of goodwill on wednesday!

Nobody forced you to seek out or use the 2nd code.
If the first code didn't work take it up with the company who supplied it.
