Trying to place an order on Sky via internet and it fails, I think because a long time back I did have a Sky product and ceased but they must still have me in their computers.
Tried phoning customer services and got no where it was someone on another planet!
Do you have a number for me to speak to in the UK?

Don't think so anymore due to the staff reductions, there are still UK based call centres but it's hit and miss whether you get them. Try early mornings, I've always had best results then.
When you say you had Sky and ceased, was that recent, do you owe them money perhaps?0 -
Long long time ago in the days of copper wire phones and broadband I had both when we thought a few Mbs was fast.
No I do not owe them money, happen to say no one else either. :-)0 -

I tried placing a broadband order 25 months ago and I got nearly to completing the order and it says contact us.
Rang a number and was told I am an ex customer but yes I am and had not been with sky for anything for 6 years and the deal I was after was more expensive on the phone so I never went with them and got Vodafone instead.1 -
I tried again phoning Sky and got a person in UK who was able to grasp what was wrong that the old details were conflicting with the new order.
Anyway he got the old account to open and added my new requirements to that, all sorted now.
Thanks for the help.2
