Simple Delivery Postage Warning
Hi. I recently sold an item with buyer paying postage (£5.54) and chose not to use the Simple Delivery prepaid label. I did this as I knew the item was heavier than the label cost allowed for and did not want my buyer paying excess postage at the other end. So I created my own label and indeed the postage came to £6.55.…

Automated feedback
So noticed a lot of automated feedback rolling in - I notice it seems to come in around a week or so after delivery, although I assume the buyer still gets the ability to leave their own personalised feedback, and will it overwrite the automated feedback?

Shiply not refunding me
I used this site to find a courier. At the point of paying for the courier I ticked that I would also like a protection plan as it seemed to only be roughly an extra £25. It was only once the payment had been processed that I realised there was still a remaining sum to be paid to the courier upon delivery of the item,…

Coming up to another ebay quarterly payout
So as above we are coming up to another ebay payout of whatever is in your seller account at the end of September. I like to keep a few hundred pounds in my account for buying and to keep my ebay activity separate from the rest of my finances so having that balance paid out is a pain in the !!!!!!. Is there anyway to avoid…

Ebay buyer protection fee is confusing me
I want to sell an item for £99 including buyer fee with free delivery. I work it out that I have to sell the item for £94.52 to get a £99 total. 7% of the item price up to £20 (7% of £20) = £1.40 4% of any portion of the item price from £20 (4% of £74.52) = £2.98 Total buyer fee £1.40 + £2.98 + 10p = £4.48…

Ebay buying an item listed in Euros, paying in Euros?
I recently made an Ebay test purchase: I logged on to Ebay.de from my U.K account to buy an item listed in Germany for sale in Euros. I used a Euro bank card added to my Ebay account. I selected that card to pay in Euros. The final payment taken from my Euro account had increased! It looks like Ebay had converted the…

Frustrating AliExpress returns procedure
I ordered a motorcycle seat from AliExpress for £95 which did not fit correctly and also had a defect in the finish. The seat was advertised as having ‘free returns’ on the listing.
