This is how Ebay treats a customer of 22 years.
This is how eBay treat a customer of 22 years with an
excellent feedback record covering 1369 items. Two weeks ago my eBay account was hacked. It took about four days to get my
account back from eBay. I then realised the hacker had converted my account to
a business account and sold a bogus item for over £5200 to a guy in…

Cheated again on Ebay
For the second time recently I have been cheated on E bay. Ordered an item shown as located in Birmingham UK and a fornight later it turns up direct from China. What I paid would have got me more than double the quantity from Temu which even has the same photo on its site.I would also have got it quicker. Ebay sucks.

E-bay returns
My son purchased a fridge through a seller on e-bay. He didn't use it within 30 days (it was 38 days) but when he did use it, it didn't work. The seller is refusing a return/refund. He tried E-bay but they won't help either. What are his rights>

Prepaid label - wrong dimensions
I've sold an item on Ebay and had chosen the simply delivery option but just noticed now the dimensions I've chosen are wrong (too small). How do I amend the label? Is it even possible? I don't see any option anywhere. Alternatively I'm happy to send the parcel on my own and not use the prepaid label but not sure that's…

Royal mail claim rejected or not?
Sold an item on ebay and the buyer received an empty but opened envelope, the item was worth £20 and i paid £3.45 for tracked insured postage. Got the envelope back with the letter from RM saying it was damaged in post, put in a complaint and request for money back and a refund but heard nothing after the 30 days. The…

Would neutral feedback be warranted?
I bought an item off an eBay seller last week. The listing stated (and still states) that it would be posted using Royal Mail Tracked 48. However, they actually used Evri. I ended up missing the first delivery attempt because I had no idea it was coming by courier later in the day.Should I use a neutral feedback to inform…

DHL telephone number
Would be grateful if anyone can point me in the direction of a contact telephone number for DHL to speak with a person. A parcel was supposed to be delivered today. I got a tracking text which now states that they've tried to deliver and couldn't gain access and that they couldn't deliver to the neighbour. I've been sat in…

Vouchers being added to my selling account
I've never seen this before, but both of my private seller accounts have in the past 24 hours been sent the following message, has anyone else had this? We wanted to let you know that you may notice some of your listings benefit from an eBay-paid for coupon. This means that the items you’re selling will be even more…

Ebay charging large amount of VAT to buyer on Digital gift card.
I recently got a PS5 gift card as a present that i do not need/want, so i have put it up for sale. I am aware that lots of scammers try and buy these from hacked accounts so i am trying to sell it for the third time now. and every time it has been cancelled. However today i saw that the buyer paid, asked for it quickly…

eBay seller refused to answer the door and hand over the item, that had been paid for and the collee
Hello to all I've got an issue with a seller. I won the item, paid for it, and agreed the collection. The seller provided me with the collection address. However, when I arrived to collect the item, the seller was in (I actually saw her behind the front door), refused to answer the door, and thereby refused to hand-over…

Hmrc letter
I’ve had a letter from HMRC saying they have information showing I’ve earned income from online marketplace sales in tax year ending 5 April 2023. I did regularly sell personal possessions and a few bits for friends and family on eBay over the years in my spare time. I’ve no idea though exactly how much or how to respond…

Estimated Delivery Dates
Same day dispatch, 24 hour courier but apparently up to 10 days for delivery, on the flip side I sell something with 2nd class post and eBay tells the buyer it will be there in 2 or 3 days. Seller has provided a tracking number which shows the parcel is yet to be handed over to the courier so it looks like I'll be waiting…

eBay has not paid me what they owe me
I never was a big seller on eBay, just an occasional sale here and there over the past 26 years having an account on eBay. Even as a buyer I did not buy too many items on ebay, but I do have a 200+ all positive feedback from all the decades of mostly small purchases. One day I decided I wanted to sell a cheap item on eBay…

Royal Mail ignoring lost postage claims and emails
Anybody else getting this? I've been selling for about 15 years and the occasional lost item, Royal Mail would generally post the cheque out to me within about 5 days with the apology letter for losing my item. The tracking of items is all over the place. One parcel I sent to USA, it stated it was received in a depot in UK…

How is everyone dealing with posting letters (Ebay sales)? Any tips?
A lot of my sales can be posted in letter size (5mm thickness). I don't do SD for them - just custom and choose letter which costs me 87p 2nd class. As most of the items are £4 - 5, I don't choose SD as that would mean £2.70. My main problem is Ebay estimated delivery times for letters is very unfair. My postman tells me…
