Businesses sending from mainland UK to N. Ireland, changes from March 31 2025
I've not seen this mentioned here before. It's not applicable yet but my RM account just made me fill in a CN22 to send a parcel to N. Ireland. As I understand, if you don't use it from March 31st the parcel is unlikely to arrive and will be returned. It's just another Brexit bonus for businesses.…

Vinted Returns
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any experience of Vinted - particularly their returns policy. I have bought/sold quite lot on ebay and a little on depop, but am new to Vinted. I recently bought a white blouse, and despite specifically asking the seller if there were any stains or defects and being told there weren't,…

Ebay buyer wants money back
I sold an Aga cooker for my Dad in mid-November. The listing said that my Dad had used it for 26 years and was selling it because he had air source heating put in and the Aga ran on oil, so he couldn't use it anymore. It was collected on the 15th November by the buyer. On the 10th January I received a message from the…

Bidding glitch
I attempted to bid on two items this evening, but on both occasions eBay threw up a system error message. The item had not reached the reserve price but edged up selling for the bid that had failed to make that reserve, so I assumed the glitch was caused by the seller doing something. Having failed to win that item I had a…

eBay Advanced/Custom postage options
Is there anyway to auto enable the above option? When creating new listings eBay is auto defaulting to 'simple options' and I have to spend time changing it to select the postage service I want.

Less Freepost since 'Buyers Protection Fee'.
Has anyone else noticed this? The buyers protection fee is on the item only so I am seeing more of the cheap item/expensive post listings to reduce the BP fee. This is going back to the time when final value fees were only charged on the item and we had a lot of 99p items with £20 postage.

Anyone used Haru app?
You send them clothing and shoes to sell, anything they don’t want they return to you. (The cash is upfront, you don’t have to wait for them to sell each item via their eBay shop.) They’ve paid me for accepted items, but have not returned my rejected items since January, and have not sent any meaningful updates when I…

Why is Ebay making cancellations too easy?
I have had 2 items cancelled this week. I packed and purchased postage in the evening. Next morning I get message to cancel! It is so annoying! Why does Ebay make it too easy to cancel. Ok, I am lucky that they were not posted otherwise the buyers would have found any excuse to return them.

Bought fake cosmetics - how best to proceed
Hi - would be grateful for some advice. I bought some branded cosmetics on eBay, goods arrived last Friday. Rather than premium, the item looks very generic and after doing some research realised that the same product is being sold elsewhere as a Chinese-made product without the brand name label. I messaged the buyer on…

Having trouble with an eBay return
Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this. Husband bought an item off Ebay that he ended up not needing. Seller's happy for it to be returned for a refund. The problem we're having is that due to it's bulky size, the couriers we've checked won't accept it. It's something like the length and girth of it is the problem.…

The second was a RM Tracked 48 (ultimate destination China) which arrived at the GSC a day later (19th Feb). Today I got two messages from eBay, one telling me they had…

I just got a message saying ‘we couldn’t verify the bank account information you provided. Please update your bank information to realise your hold payments and avoid further restrictions ‘.
