How can I send a combined invoice please as an Ebay seller ?
Hi one buyer has bought 2 items from me and both were best offers that I accepted. He now wants me to send an invoice to combine p+p. One of the postage costs will cover both items easily.
How do I do this please?

Was it 'simple delivery'?
In my experience eBay links the 2 items together with one postage label.

OOps I have no idea if it's simple delivery. I have sold to a trader so I would have thought the he would know how to do it and guide me through…. We're talking large letter postage - so not really breaking the bank if he pays twice
I know it used to link items together when I sold years ago. I've recently started selling again and so much has changed .

Are the items simple delivery or custom postage? Presumably as the buyer hasn't paid if they are simple delivery ebay will calculate a combined postage (however if they are both under 1kg it may charge for a 2kg parcel even if they two together are under 1kg). As the seller you have no control once the buyer has agreed to buy. Ask the buyer what happens if they go to 'pay now'

Thanks, apparently, because it was accepted offers, combined postage isn't an option.
So I will send in one package and see what happens.

Simple delivery will give you two labels so use 2 packages. If you don't then one could easily be reported as missing IYKWIM.

Would a solution be to create a new listing for both items with appropriate postage and send the link to your buyer? And you cancel the two original ones.

It doesn't seem fair that accepting best offers means the buyer can't take advantage of combined postage.

Has the buyer reported what happens if they go to pay for the items?

I don't know.
My comment was generic.

In a discussion last month soolin posted;
"I've noticed a new thing on ebay (this is on my private account), it appears that buyers can add things to an order if they use Simple delivery.
I thought the first time I saw it it was a glitch, but it's just happened again. Buyer offered on something and I accepted, item was paid (possibly under immediate payment required) and it shows as paid but isn't showing as ready to despatch. Instead it says '
Paid – wait to shipBuyer has 2h 56m left to shopThat implies buyer can still bundle other items and my label will be usable only once their shopping time has ended"
Which seems to suggest buyers making a best offer CAN benefit from combined delivery on simple delivery if purchasing multiple items within a time window. Was this a glitch?
