Lost listings - has anyone else experienced this problem
I`m a private seller selling a mixture of items but mainly knitting patterns. Periodically I go through the boxes and check whether the listing is still ` live`. A lot of them seem to go off the radar and disappear so I am now listing them as BIN rather than auction.. Has anyone else experienced this?

Postage and packaging and using pre-paid labels
Sold a couple of books recently in auctions. They went for £1 each which was what I'd listed them for, so kind of disappointing, but I'd added £2.94 to each to pay for postage and packing. They both went to the same buyer and I printed off the pre-paid label and posted the package. I expected to receive payment for the…

Possibly affecting all small packets from China
Possibly affecting all small packets from China and small packets by IOSS sellers in the UK sending abroad. Quite a big deal if you sell small items. My only question is, will it affect the Chinese sellers we all know that send items into warehousing in the UK allegedly really parcel handlers. Announcement from Royal Mail:…

Minimising cost of sending knitting to the Netherlands
TLDR: is there a way of sending preloved knitting to the Netherlands without the recipient having to pay tax on arrival? The details: I am about to become a Grandma. I am here in the UK, Baby is in Amsterdam. I knit. I am already a Great Aunt, and some of the things I have knitted for my Great Niblings have been returned…

Urgent - query re proof of item collection, for an expensive returned item
Hi, I bought a TV from a company trading on eBay, on arrival some issues with screen. They've been great and quickly arrange a collection for me, which is for tomorrow. But, the collecting firm - called AIT - are apparently going to bring the postage label with them - so I won't have a copy of it. I will take a photo of…

Large, very heavy item from eBay faulty. Buyer pays for returns?
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but wanted some confirmation. I have bought an extremely large and heavy item that needed specialist delivery on a pallet. It turns out that this is unfortunately faulty. On the ad, they claim that buyer pays for returns. From what I can tell, this is purely for if the buyer…

Buyer protection expiring after original delivery estimate
Hello everyone, I ordered something from ebay but it was out of stock, wasn't desperate for it so waited. It was marked as despatched a month after the original order, but still hasn't arrived. I contacted ebay and they say the buyer protection expires 30 days after the original delivery estimate, not when it's actually…

Can anyone give any feedback on this firm which distributes brochures, advertising these roadshows where apparently they buy things for cash?

Royal Mail Compensation - Ebay Sellers
I don’t know if anyone else has encountered this, but Royal Mail are refusing to allow claims for compensation for lost or damaged items if the postage label is purchased through eBay, irrespective of which service is used. You may know as a private seller you have two shipping options, “simple delivery” or “custom…

Dropshipper
I'm interested in what folks think about what feedback I should leave on ebay. I was looking for some adapter/connector widgets. I filtered for item location as UK. All the prices, pictures and descriptions were similar, usual for this type of thing. I picked a seller, 99.4%, and ordered 3, total just under £10, delivery…

Lost evri parcel
Hello all, looking for any guidance you may have. I recently sent an item to a company who offer repairs. The company provided the evri label for me to use to send the item to them. Evri have proof of delivery but the delivery photo looks like it is in the middle of a road or at least nowhere near the delivery address…

ebay- buyers 'shopping time' after one purchase.
I've noticed a new thing on ebay (this is on my private account), it appears that buyers can add things to an order if they use Simple delivery. I thought the first time I saw it it was a glitch, but it's just happened again. Buyer offered on something and I accepted, item was paid (possibly under immediate payment…

I am in desperate need of help please - I don't know where to turn now, my mental health is rock bottom. Sorry, it's a long one - On 3rd May, I purchased an art deco diamond watch – details above from a shop called who is a business seller on Ebay. Rejecting return/refund request as a seller
The listing was for food processor components (bowl, knives, etc) as the main unit has sadly died. The buyer opened a case claiming "the item is not as described" because the main unit is missing. The main unit was never included in the listing in the first place, there was no pictures of it either. The listing clearly…

How to account for income from eBay sales when listing as a private seller?
Hi there, I am new to the ebay forum so wanted to say hello first! I was wondering if anyone can help with the rules surrounding ebay sales as a private seller. I am a "self-employed" photographer and are closing my Studio. Over the last 8 years I have purchased equipment that I will no longer need and are looking to sell…

buyers casually asking for immmediate dispatch after purchase...
I get this occasionally, I see the note left at checkout "please post asap" etc.. today I saw the sale notification whilst at work so I knew it had sold, but upon returning home from work I see they left a note at checkout, "please post today" so now instead of finding the item, putting it in a box, and creating a label…

How do you actually edit your Vinted listings?
I had a potential buyer get in touch & want clarification on what I'm listing. I can only imagine it's because some morons don't put the appropriate info in their listing. So say I'm selling an iPhone 16, they got in touch asking if it's the 16, pro, pro max etc when the listing title clearly states iPhone 16. But I…

Has anyone use Vintage Cash Cow recently?
I know there is a post on here about this company but the last entry was over 2 years ago. So I'm wondering if anyone has any recent experience of them please, good or bad?
