I would also like to add packaging as this is a very importnat aspect of selling online. There's nothing worse than someone receivng a damaged item through the post / by courier due to a lack of appropriate packaging 😯, when necessary.

I've personally decluttered my whole house selling hundreds of unwanted items online and filling up; on numerous ocassions, complete inpost lockers overnight. The only thing I spent money on was parcel tape, all other packaging I got completely free from Super Markets (SM) - Flat packed boxes, bubble wrap (look in the bottom of the fruit and veg boxes). Using quality recyclable packaging is wonderful for both the environment as well as your pocket. In fact, I used to do SM recycling packaging runs once a week or every 2 weeks, if I managed to fully load the boot of the car - That's how much I was selling and posting 😅.
