Ebay SNAD

I understand that buyers have 30 days in which to open a SNAD - is that correct? As a seller how do I know the end date of that 30 day period please.

Thank you. So if shows as delivered on 23 May so they can't open one. They're claiming the items damaged but surely you'd check it in that time.

Yeah, pretty sure if it was delivered on 23 May they would have to open the case by 22 June latest.

They can still open a return but it will now be up to you as to whether you accept the return.

Bear in mind that if you refuse, the buyer will still be able to do a chargeback via their bank if they feel aggrieved enough.

I suppose buyer could try that but under managed payments it’s very difficult to get a bank to agree to do it, and buyer would have to show they exhausted the eBay process and had tried to resolve it themselves first, and then arrange to send it back at their own cost.

The SNAD claim Is actually possible for 30 days after last estimated delivery date, so OP looks safe from an automatic return on eBay.

Thanks everyone, I contacted Ebay to confirm and they were definitely out of time so I've just sent them the buyer a message to say that and heard nothing more.
