Switching to a single rate
I would like to switch to a single rate for electricity with a new company.Does anyone know if there are any companies which will do this without forcing you to have a smart meter like Octopus and EON do.Thanks

Octopus Energy - Nightmare gettting Smart Meter fitted
I agreed to transfer to Octopus Energy for a new EV and the benefits of their EV tariff. I managed to get the Car in 8 weeks, the EV charger inside 3 weeks and was ready just waiting on my smart meter. Can a Smart meter be installed flat (horizontally)?
I want a Smart meter but have limited space and a Smart electricity meter + comms device won't fit vertically on the wall, but it could do if it was laid flat. Is that allowed? I have contacted my provider's 3 times but can't get an answer.
