Reselling of LPG gas to Park homes residential

We understand that there is no regulation from Ofgem for the reselling of LPG gas to park homes.  We have recently discovered that our Park Home owner Opco Ltd has fixed a price for the gas based on a totally wrong use of the figures from an invoice which shows the cost of the LPG to them.  We have highlighted the mistake which is a serious one as they were charging £1.963 per unit of gas to us.  The invoice shows they paid £1018 for 1998 units from their supplier which would give 50p for whatever these units were.  We have contacted our MP about this with all the information but looking at it there appears to be no protection for LPG users to stop huge profiteering happening.  Anybody had any similar experiences.  These prices were presumably being charged to the whole of our site of at least 100 homes.  (Removed by Forum Team)

What's a "unit" in this case - kilograms, cubic metres, kilowatt hours, ...?

I suspect that a "unit" is a litre.  In which case that's an outrageous mark up!

It looks like the gas company is charging the site owner per litre and they are in turn charging you per unit on the meter.  1 unit on the meter equals 3.85 litres so 50.9p per litre x would be approximately £1.96 per unit on your meter.  It looks like they are charging you the correct price.
