Inflation-busting Broadband Price Rises
Plusnet have taken away their annual line rental saver, and made me an offer of a contract which is £6 a month more than new customers can get elsewhere - which is disappointing after 10 years with them. I also notice they will appy annual price hikes of inflation PLUS 3.9%. Whay are we letting companies do this? Who in…

Virgin Media Loss of Service for 6 days only £20.00 Compensation
In our area the Virgin Media Broadband went down for 2 days in May and 4-5 days in June. I phoned up to complain and get them to process a credit to my account. In 2020 I had no broadband for 2 days and they credited £16.00 into my account without even contacting them. This time its a different story. I was speaking to…

I need/want to move my phone socket which is currently in the hallway in a place which makes it look ugly. As I am having work done in the house, I would like to take this…

Warranty TV repairs and replacements
Heya all, first post here - I'm looking for some advice please. I bought a TV and before the warranty was up I had two lines of dead pixels appear on the screen, contacted the manufacturer, they sent out a 3rd party Company that manages their repairs to fix it, sadly he didn't and ended up completely breaking the TV in 3…

Who has ditched Sky/Virgin and not looked back?
I can't be the only one who has sat scrolling through all the channels on Sky wondering what on earth I am paying for. Well we took the plunge a while back when we moved house and cancelled Sky altogether and returned the equipment. Now in our new house, we just have a Fire TV Stick (we don't even have a TV aerial) and…

Now broadband tel.no not ported
Hello I am after some advice. I changed my mam’s telephone provider to Now who didn’t port the number over even though 3 weeks before the port I queried the e-mail with a new number but was told not to worry as the original number would be ported. This was important as my mother had that number for about 60 years and she…

Oled tv screen burn
Anyone else having problems with "screen burn" on their television? We purchased our LG 55" tv in May 2017. Brilliant colours and more than happy until 2 months ago when we noticed ghost like static images on the screen. These have become more and more visible, rendering the tv virtually unwatchable. PC World told us to…

Tesco Mobile- actively cancel your account or payments taken
I have been a Tesco Mobile customer for nearly 10 years. I just spotted that I had 3 payments going out to Tesco Phone Insurance , but we only have two phones in use. iPhone 6s Touch i.d.
If you set-up touch i.d. on an iPhone 6s can it be reversed? i.e. Can you go back to 4 or 6 digit pass-code, or even dispense with pass-code
altogether if touch i.d. has previously been implemented? All replies gratefully received.

"Lack of evidence" - Going through arbitration with Virgin
I have a complaint with Virgin that has been going on since February. Long story short, the agent over the phone promised a certain price if i agreed to a new contract and this price hasn't been honoured. Submitted a complaint to the ombudsman and Virgin responded that this (arbitration) is an evidenced based platform and…

Silent answerphone
Is there such a thing as a landline answerphone you can switch to silent. I can silence the ringing but not the greeting message or the person leaving a message. I’m told it’s call screening but that looks like they have to say their name to be accepted. I just want to put the answerphone to silent.

Phone for 85 yr old
I have a friend of 85 who wants to get a phone to video chat to her son and grandchildren in France. She asked me a look a while ago and I found a good deal but that seems to have gone now and I am confused by a guy in Tesco who said she would need a lot of data for video calling. She doesn't have a lot of income and I am…
