Hi all, In my current home I have sky TV, broadband and phone which I have had for 2 years after renewing with them last year. I'm currently in the process of moving home and the broadband speeds I would get in the new property wouldn't be sufficient to run my work systems. As like many I'm having to work from home until…

Virgin Media Early Termination Fee
Hi all, Looking to see if anyone had any experience with VM and their early termination fee. Towards the end of last year, quite suddenly I had to leave the rented property I was in but luckily found another quickly. I contacted VM to ask them to move my services to the new property as (unlike many!) I had been happy with…

Looked at a few sites but they don’t state the condition as in what grade or how new the phone is. Any recommendations for where…

No TV license, what apps can I use?
Am I correct in thinking that I can use the BBC weather app and the BBC IPlayer? The Sky News app has a lot of written news but it also has a Live TV section, so can I use that app if I don’t watch the Live TV? BTW I don’t have a Sky contract.

BT Charged for Calls which were free with SKY
Hello,I recently discovered that BT had been charging me not just for the landline but for a call package and voicemail service. Neither of these were ever used as BT were unable to provide this service as my phone calls were with SKY and they were paid accordingly and were separate to my BT Bill... This is a legacy from…

Silly question regarding how to use TV

I've just bought a TV and I was wondering what different ways can I watch channels on it. Can someone lay out the different options I…

Sony won't honour warranty as I haven't got receipt
My tv is still within its warranty and has broke, but Sony have said they aren't touching it without proof of purchase. I think this is wrong and I believe I'm within my rights still to have it repaired or changed if it cant be repaired. I should add that the issue is a well known issue to Sony also. Any advice would be…

Apple Trade-In Scam
Does anyone else feel ripped off by the Apple trade-in process? I recently purchased an iPhone 12 mini in full partly driven by the trade-in offer - my phone wasn’t perfect and explained that but wasn’t given the opp to input the details - it did however spit out an offer of £225. I went ahead with the order and surprise…

Ethernet v Wi-Fi.
I'm thinking about replacing my Lenovo laptop, which I've had a number of years. Previously, I possessed a Dell. The thing both had in common was that I connected them to the internet via an Ethernet cable. I would very much like to buy another Lenovo model, because I've mostly found the brand to be excellent. However,…
