A while back we cancelled our Netflix, Disney+ etc as there hadnt been much interesting new content and we had watched most of what we wanted during the first lockdown.

We are currently away at the moment on an extended stay and a bit out of the way so seeing new content decided to resubscribe to some of these. Obviously there system has geolocated us and subscribed us using the local currency and rates which are notably lower than in the UK. I dont think many asked for an address, maybe because reactivating old account, but anything that did we put our UK address.  Its being linked to a fee free card so no international currency charges.

This has got us thinking to what happens/should happen when we return home, particularly as I will return before my wife... can we continue just paying the reduced subs in foreign currency? Unlike Amazon Prime or Apple TV the apps localise and so shows local content rather than home country content (which can be changed with use of VPN).
