My contract with EE came to an end yesterday i'm only wanting a sim only plan i tried to get a better deal last month but just got the standard deals so waited until my contract expired and while the offers are cheaper EE won't even try to compete with tesco mobile to keep my custom.they offered 18 pounds for 25gb i have read previous posts where people got far far better deals than that.
One thing to mention is when i selected the wanting to leave option it took me to the upgrade department no one passed me over to the retention section so i wonder if i should try again or will this be the best offer thats available
any advice appreciated thanks

any advice appreciated thanksHi,Did you get sorted in the end? It is July 7th now, so I was curious how it went on as I will be in a similar situation at the end of August.0 -
I had a similar issue last month. Ee retetntions just not giving decent deals anymore. If you wish to stay with EE I suggest you take out a new plan using one of the 3rd party cashback websites such as affordablemobiles or fonehouse (search on google), that way you can get great deals on EE. I got the 60gb 5g smart sim for the equivalent of £10 a month on EE this way. (if you want to keep your number you need to pac it out to another network and back in)
Don't just stick with EE and pay a high price. Even other main networks have much cheaper sims now like vodafone and o2. (and there is of course 3, and MVNOs such as virgin, smarty, voxi, plus net etc......there is so much choice. Good luck!0 -
I wouldn't recommend EE to anyone, they have became more expensive and don't offer any good deals anymore so i switched to three much preferred when it was T-Mobile!1

EE direct sales seem to be giving the retention deals if your "upgrading"
I changed from the old 100gb and sharer sim package for £32 to Unlimited data and 2 additional sims for £23 so there are some deals still there.0 -
When I joined EE just over 2 years ago I had the 25gb sim only deal for £25 a month so when that ended a year later I called and selected the "Think of leaving" option. I got offered unlimited calls/texts and 10gb of data. I also got offered 5gb extra free and a £4 loyalty discount. The tariff comes up with EE SIM 10GB £20R on my bills, So it should've been £20 a month but was £16 and after the RPI increase the other month I now pay £16.44 a month. This EE retention deal came to an end in March so I'm now on a 30 day rolling contract.
I've been looking around on other networks for better deals but I cant find anything better than what I've got at the moment.
Should I just stick with what I've got for now?

Should I just stick with what I've got for now?Similarly as I said above in another post affordable mobiles are offering cheap cashback deals on EE tariffs. (No I do not work for them!!)
I cancelled my old EE tariff which was a max plan offering 20gig for what was now about 24 pounds a month (due to several rapid increases) and started a new EE 5g smart sim tariff via such a deal and am getting 60gig, unlimited mins/texts and a swappable for £10 a month, so definitely worth the effort!1 -

Thank you anyway. :-)0 -
Vote with your wallet EE are milking customers blind really do not get what the hype about EE yes they probably have the best speeds/signal in city centres imagine me taking 3x EE unlimited sim £35 contract will cost me around £105 a month.
Now on 3 mobile only paying less than £25 for 3 sim contracts both sims with unlimited data one with 8gb very happy indeed even the speeds faster than EE in my area.
All I do on my mobile is music and netflix at home on 4g broadband.
