Virgin final bill

I decided to leave virgin half way through my billing cycle, and I am coming up to my payment date. I would have thought that they would have sent me a new bill to cover the last 2 weeks of my contract, but I have not had any new bills and I am currently due to pay the full monthly amount, which I obviously don't want to do.
Am I suppose to get a new bill, or will they charge me the full amount and then give me a refund? I did read that they give a refund after 35 days of me leaving by cheque, which is ridiculous.

When does/did your contract expire?
Not sure how Virgin operate, but if you are mid contract and you cancel the contract usually you'd still need to pay penalties (or the full remainder of the contact depending on T&C's).
If your contract expired and you notified them you we're leaving and this was confirmed - you'd have to pay the amount up to the end date (usually 30 days from notice).
What does you last bill say? How often are you billed?

My contract expired ages ago, just running down the 30 day notice period. I am billed monthly and my latest bill is for the full monthly amount payable in advance.
