Just saved £285.12 per annum on my virgin tv and broadband account

Afternoon all, my first post here, but wanted to share with you all that after contacting Virgin today (was on hold for nearly one hour) I managed to secure a reduction of £285.12 a year on my account with to little to no haggling. I was polite and courteous to the very helpful lady and told her that I could get what I wanted cheaper else where from sky or BT. I had done my homework and found the prices similar to the package I have from virgin. Job done and I’m really pleased with the outcome. Worth the wait on hold.
