I have an unlocked iPhone that I intend to sell soon. However, I want to lend it to a friend for a few weeks for using it as a backup phone with their PayG SIM card.

Does using an iPhone with a PayG SIM card lock the phone on that network?

  • If an iPhone is unlocked, it is unlocked for ever. There used to be iPhones that locked to the first network they connected to, but that was years ago.
