Want to leave EE early - know the charges, but any way to avoid them?
My contract is up on April 2024. The service has been weirdly terrible in my part of London. Can't wait to leave. I would just take the £70 hit and leave early But is there any way to swerve these costs, arguing about poor service level? Or get bought out by a new provider somehow? Long shot but thought i'd ask anyway!

Using PAC code when staying on same network
Hi everyone, I've finally had enough of Vodafone after twenty years as they offered me an "upgrade" on my finishing contract at double the price! I've found the phone that I want at half the price online and with no upfront costs (Vodafone want £30 for the phone as well) whilst staying on the Vodafone network...... The…

Ditching landline
Seriously considering ditching the landline and relying on mobile. As I’ve always used PAYG sim, and used house internet for most things in the past I have no idea how much GB per month I’ll need on the mobile. I will need the mobile data on 24/7, about 30 mins phone calls daily, 1 hour social media daily, 30 mins email,…

Anyone had any experience with talkmobile
My contract with EE is up and I have found a good deal with talkmobile. £7.95 a month. I know they use the vodaphone network which has good coverage but I'm cautious that as I've been with EE for a long time I might notice a difference in speeds. Anyone have experience with them?

Few questions re upgrading vodafone sim only via mobiles.co.uk
Currently out of contract on a vodafone sim only plan direct with vodafone, about £14 p/m. It's a plan from 2021 and includes european roaming. I've seen a few people mention they've upgraded (on voda) via mobiles.co.uk, I've looked at the deals and seen that I'm able to get more data than I currently have, 70GB or 200GB…

Help welcome: wrong number displaying with texts
Switched from Vodafone to ID mobile 6 weeks ago. Number swap via PAC all went smoothly and all has been fine ever since until this week when texts sent appeared on receiving phone as being sent via the temporary number used only for a day or two whilst the number swap happened. Calls and Whatsapp display the right number.…

Lebara PAYG?
My MSE Lebara deal has reached the end of it's 49p deal so I've turned off 'auto renewal' and they tell me that I will be charged "standard PAYG rates" *If* I make any calls, or use any data, will these simply be charged to my card that was associated with auto-renewal or would I need to 'top up' first?

Looking for cheapest voice only sim on Vodafone
I have a spare basic handset which I want to connect to the
Vodafone network or the smaller mobile virtual network operators that use their
network. My main mobile is on Giffgaff/O2 and this spare is to be kept

Using phone abroad (Europe) - best way?
We're looking at going [somewhere abroad] next December. Haven't decided where yet other than somewhere in Europe. Looking to start getting the homework done early & one of the things is mobile phone use & specifically data. I don't imagine we'll make any actual phone calls but we almost certainly will be relying on Google…

contract tends to be a bad deal for me, should I avoid it always?
I got a contract a while ago I think it's maybe 5GB 3 years £10 a month.. But then my experience has been that after 2 years or so, you can get 10GB £10 a month, PAYG. No new phone with it 'cos I don't want to pay over £10 a month. So is contract always a bad deal eg if not getting a new phone with it as is the case with…

Giving notice to end contract but having to pay for cancellation?
Hi. I've been with 3 for 12 years, having taken out a new contract with a new phone every 2 years. Today I've decided to leave as they aren't matching a better deal from a different provider like they always have previously. I've been through the wanting to cancel process with the retentions people, management etc, but…

O2's miserable Customer Service & Fake Rolling Plans lure new customers to Contract Plans..??
I am in the process to move away from Lyca after my terrible porting experience with them recently. Luckily (or unluckily) I found a brilliant Black Friday deal with a O2 Rolling Plan. Orders sim after seeing promotion in Facebook. 3 days later received sim from O2 also clearly says rolling Plan offered in the letter I…
