Porting SIM1 To Sim2
I have a dual SIM Xiaomi mobile with slot one containing a Three Mobile SIM, on which the contract expires at the end of this month, and in slot two a Lebara monthly rollover contract SIM which I have had for about twelve months.
The Three Mobile SIM is currently my main contact number but when my Three Mobile contract finishes I would like port over this number to my Lebara SIM.
I know I can do this
if I was moving to a new network with a brand new SIM but is it
possible to do this with a SIM I have using for a year? Or will I
have to obtain a new Lebara SIM/take out a new contract in order to
to make the transfer?

You can port a number in at any time. It is generally advisable to test your service on a new sim before porting your number in anyway. The only issue you might have is some of your phone settings not updating to the number swap but restarting your phone normally solves this.1

Thanks. So if I am porting to an existing SIM everything should be fine.0

If you're not precious about the number in sim2, why not just ditch it and get a new one on a cheaper introductory MSE deal? It is possible as I've done it!

Good point. I'll probably do that.0

savergrant said:Has your deal renewed at the introductory offer price yet? Last thing you updated to that thread was 'fingers crossed' so you didn't seem to be betting your life on it. Others have said their renewals haven't been discounted but that won't happen to you?
Sorry - thought I'd updated my post - "your plan renews at 99p for the next 5 months. From 7/7/24 the standard price of £4.4 will be charged" is what it says on my Lebara app
