Leaving EE

17th July my minimum contract period with EE expired
19th - EE put my regular monthly bill online for direct debit on the 26th
20th I requested a PAC code, and activated a SIM with another provider
21st - number transferred to new provider. EE have also erased my account on line and on their app
26th - EE direct debit taken

My questions are, will I get a partial refund from EE, if so how long should it take, and should I cancel the DD now or wait for a refund?

  • You'll get a refund from EE for the part-month you've paid for in advance. It will probably be processed no later than the next billing cycle on your account ie19th of next month with a credit applied after that.

Don't cancel the DD, it's the channel for the refund to be made.

    Define "left".

DId you get a PAC code and give it to somebody else?
Or have you just seen a contract end date and assumed your phone service would end on that date?  Because that's not how it works.

    Who are you with now?
