Using old iPhone with unlimited SIM as dongle
Hi folks! After looking at traditional broadband options, I'm becoming more motivated to try using an unlimited SIM with my old iPhone as an alternative internet access option. I've got good 3UK signal at home but their Mi-Fi (mobile broadband) services are rather expensive if I don't opt for like a 24-month contract. I'm…

Uno Fibre and FTTP when fibre has never installed along the long drive.
So, my parents have had Uno ADSL when they used to be Xilo. It has not gotten bad enough and its always been slow that I want to move them to fibre. They live down a long, shared driveway and have since 2004. No one has ever come to the drive to dig it up and lay fibre to the property. However Uno say that FTTP is…

On my first bill. a credit of £505 appeared for "QuickStart Pack Credit". Since then, every…

Virgin Media - New Contract

However, the contract now states that Virgin Media reserves the right to increase prices at any point during the contract term without providing any further details. Unlike Vodafone, which states that there…

TalkTalk: Now £37.16 a month. Better options, or just threaten to leave?
I'm on a rolling contract with TalkTalk broadband. The renewal quote online is £29 - still a rip-off. Speed: 38 Mbps, which for what I do is fine. Has anybody been with TalkTalk and moved to a much better deal? Or if I say I want to leave, are they likely to offer me something nearer £20-25? Note: Virgin Media isn't…
