Sky Broadband - Existing Customer

I'm currently with Sky and have both TV and Broadband Superfast (around 50mb).
- Sky TV is in contract until December 2024
- Broadband is out of contract
I'm keen to upgrade to faster broadband, and the best the retentions team can offer is £36 per month for 500mb Ultrafast Plus. I can see that this is being offered to new customers for less than £30 per month. (£27 in fact on the main pages of Money Saving Expert plus a voucher).
If I cancel my broadband, will I be treated as a new customer and therefore able to get the new customer deal, or will my SKY TV package treat me as an existing customer?

Edit: Probably worth noting I'd be happy to go to Virgin, but they accidentally cut the cable when the driveway was installed, and I really don't have the appetite for the bricks to be lifted and relayed and it end up looking a mess, so not really an option to reconnect.
