Moving Away from the Well Known Brands - Caution Advised?
Looks like I may be moving to a lesser known company from Virgin Media as unless they can give me an amazing deal, then there is no incentive to stay with them any more. Are there any people who have gone from well known companies to much smaller ones and it's been a fabulous success?

My Virgin broadband & phone package has just gone up from £55 a month to £85 a month. Yet a quick check on here shows them offering new customers the same package for £26 a month. Virgin Media don't seem to want their box back. Is it mine now?
I cancelled my Virgin Media broadband package in March 2023. After the mandatory 30 day "disconnect notice period" the service finally ended in early April. At the time, Customer Service were quite adamant - on the infuriating webchat function - that I needed to return their box when the service ended otherwise I would be…

I was on a rolling monthly contract for broadband and inclusive calls with NowTV and before switching from them they confirmed in a phone call that I'd be refunded pro rata for any part of the month I'd paid for after the switch had happened.
