New Cordless phone
I need to buy a twin cordless phones. Can anyone give me ideas of ones that are the best. I am 70 and not very tech minded. I need it to have an answer machine, about 30 minutes of message space, easy instructions, and that the calling number shows on the phone. It doesn't have to have large buttons. Thanks you

landline Phoneline ownership
I am trying to track down who supplies my elderly mother in law (who is housebound), with her phone land line. The line is active and has been in use for many years but recently we thought she had a line fault. BT have no record of her on their system. I have also tried Talktalk (as that is who we are with) They too have…

The 14713 that wasn't - a Telecomms scam?
Just over a week ago, my wife answered a random call on our landline, at 02:30 in the morning; when she answered, the call was termimated. So
she dialled 1471, but got a call that was made the day before - the caller at
02:30 had withheld their number. I then checked our statement (Now TV), and found that we
had been…

Residential VOIP
Hi - the UK is moving from landlines to VOIP but there seems to be very little information out there. Openreach wants to run a cable across our building ...
... to a neighbours' house. Openreach wants written permission from us, and we wondered if there's anything the letter should contain to avoid any potential problems in the future. The cable will run from a box on the side wall of our three-storey end terrace, across the front and then down to the next-door neighbours'…
