I’m sure this is a stupid question but we are changing to Sky Ultrafast broadband as it was cheaper than the broadband we have with them now. They previously gave us free any time calls on the landline but now want to charge £12 for this so we are ditching that as we have unlimited calls via mobile.
I have read that the landline will plug into the router rather than the existing socket. The router is in the home office and presently we have 3 other Panasonic cordless extensions round the house. Now here’s my question, will this arrangement still work? It will be no good to receive calls if only one phone rings as we wouldn’t hear it!
Thanks for any input but please don’t get technical. My thinking at the moment is to cancel the fibre installation if we will only have one phone for incoming calls.

Yes they will still work as normal and you can keep same call features (caller display etc), you'd just need to connect the main one into the hub1

Thank you so much. That’s a relief. Even if we don’t use the landline to make calls, we still receive most calls via the old fashioned route!0
