Hi all, this is mainly for Martin and his team, sorry. Is Martin here in Northern Ireland doing a wee tour, with some of his team going round about a few days later speaking to people, to "lower costs " of broadband etc?
Just seems a bit strange when 2 people turn up on your door step, say they work for money saving expert, no paperwork, just a lanyard with id card, and mobile phone on them. 🤔🤔

Are you sure it wasn't money expert instead who are completely separate?0

It's likely it is "Money Extra" who are a different organisation and who seem to try and benefit from picking a name which confuses them with reputable organisations like MSE.
We had a visit in recent weeks in Sheffield. Two people going door to door talking about broadband cost. Trained to be evasive and to build an initial rapport before, I assume, trying to sell a "better deal" for commission. Looking for those who are too polite to usher them away, the easily persuaded or the vulnerable.
I asked what they wanted only for them to keep rambling on about broadband work in the area, what neighbours had shared and whether prices are rising. They even asked if I had my phone to hand so they could check something.
I had already said we don't entertain buying anything at the door and it took a polite, but more forceful repeat of what I had said for them to shut up and leave.
I would love door to door sales banned.0
