GiffGaff on iPhone - some online apps not working on data
My son has an iPhone (couple of years old) and is using a GiffGaff sim. At home, connecting to Wi-Fi everything works well. Away from home he can call, text and his location app works as I can see his whereabouts when I’m at home. However, Google, AppStore, and online games do not work. I have put his SIM card in my phone…

Vodaphone Homephone Adapter - Received
As I only have a broadband service with them, they sent me an adapter just today, although, I don't have a home phone. Is there any point in sending it back when I didn't ask for this in the first place. I don't want to be charged further down the line, nor be hassled for another service from them. Does anyone have this…

Virgin Media fake usage charges and fallout
Hello all, I wonder if I could please beg some advice. • Sat 15 July: Virgin Media suspend services, no warning. Call them and find out I have 'unbilled usage charges on phone'. Obviously I object to having services suspended for not paying for something I haven't been billed for. They say they have to send an engineer. •…

Expert Telecom
Just been cold called by representative from Expert Telecom promising savings on landline and broadband over what we pay to Vodaphone. Not keen on doing anything just over the phone. Anyone had any experience with them Looked up reviews etc but still get the feeling that 'it sounds to good to be true'.

Trying to Get out of BT Contract Digital Voice
Recently BT have informed me they are switching my phone line over to digital voice and I need reason to get out of my contract as basically I think £54 for broadband and pay 20p per min of talk is outrageous and I dont even use the phone side, so I basically need broadband only deal. They are saying I'm still in contract…

Having a nightmare with O2
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on contacting and getting a response from O2. I am currently dealing with cancer, so having to handle their mess is an unwanted distraction. In a nutshell, I
took out an online contract for a SIM-only Pay Monthly deal. As
part of the process, I submitted my current phone number and…

Just want to know what Sky is charging for TV & broadband.
It must be somewhere on their website but I keep running in to a brick wall on this. My mother's contract has come to an end & so it's time to see what's best for her (whether that's staying with or moving from Sky). She's currently on £29 for TV & £34.50 for broadband & talk. I just want to know what new customers are…

Lebara and call forwarding
Having moved loads of phones to Lebara I now find they don't support call forwarding, which would have been nice to know in advance as it's pretty important for one of the phones. They say, and I quote, "The team is working on it but we do not have the update as when it will
be launched." Is there any way of knowing which…

Keeping a land line
We moved into a newbuild house in 2015, and currently, the only internet options on the estate are via OFNL - which limits choice and is a bit more expensive than other providers. a couple of weeks ago, I thought I'd try out 3 mobile's 5G service, and it appears to work surprisingly well here and is less than half the…

TrueCall Phone with answerphone and Digital Voice (VoIP)
Hi folks, We have recently been switched over to a Digital Voice phone line with our Home Broadband ISP. We have a combined Phone/Answerphone with TrueCall screening that announces any unknown callers which we can choose to accept or divert to the answerphone. Since moving to the Digital Voice line, any answerphone…

Satellite dish Hybird LNB
If I want my satellite dish to be able to work with current older freesat receiver, but later on be able to connect to Sky Q style freesat box, I think I need to ask the engineer to fit a "Hybrid LNB with dedicated wideband outputs" - is this the correct thing to ask?

Ex using my address to obtain a new phone contract
My ex left 6 months or so ago. But very recently I discovered this person used my address to obtain a new phone contract. They are on the electoral roll for the address. Obviously to pass a credit check they must have done this. However I am unhappy that they used my address when they should not have. Could this be a…

Best deals to new customers or same deals to all customers
Did I dream that companies can not offer better deals to new customers than existing customers. I'm on a monthly mobile contract and was happy with it until I saw much better deals offered to attract new customers. Can I insist on having one of the deals they are offering to new customers.

BT Overpayment
BT contract taken out 5 years ago, including TV, phone and broadband. 11 months ago I realised I didn't need the phone or TV, so opened an account with Plusnet and told them to cancel my BT account (which they offered to do). BT phoned to try and 'retain' me. I said I only wanted Broadband. They offered me a great deal so…

Hi i am looking for an ipad and found one on eBay. The seller send me a picture of the spec but I noticed he was financing the ipad from O2. Tesco International Calling
I use Tesco International calling and a month ago calls to Ireland landlines was 1P a minute and 1.5P a minute to mobiles IIRC. I now notice they have ramped up to 3P and 3.5P per minute, that's a big increase. Can anyone advised a good cheap way of making International calls please?
