Smart Meter Monitor Replacement
My parents are on the Priority Register with British Gas, their very old smart meter monitor is broken (wear and tear) and I was advised that all I needed to do was call and request a replacement. Two weeks later and I am still having difficulty succeeding with this request. They obviously like to monitor their usage.…

Has anyone taken part in this before as I think they may have ran something similar at Christmas? I assume the catch is they collect and sell your usage data to target you with tailored tariffs?…

I’ve been trying to get a £460 account credit refunded after the account holder passed away, and you wouldn’t believe how difficult Octopus makes it. I have invested in a 8kW of solar panels with a Tesla Powerwall 3 set up that will be installed next week. April Tariff Changes and Direct Debit Recalc
I wonder if suppliers will re-calc Direct Debits after applying the new rates from April 1st. If they don't I can see lots of complaints from people who only focus on their DD that they haven't saved any money, and the suppliers will have more credit building up... I doubt they have considered it yet.
