I just received my bill from EDF for September's usage.

I was notified by text message of several free Power Perks usage hours on the 19th and 20th September which I took advantage of.

But the September usage bill shows no credit or zero rate charge for the Power Perks hours, resulting in a charge of £10.28 that I understood should have been free.

Can anyone recall what the arrangement is for Power Perks payments? I can't seem to find any T&C's covering the scheme. Perhaps the credit will appear in next month's bill.

Just thought I would ask here before contacting EDF. Thanks

EDIT :

Just found the answer!! Thought I would leave this post in place in case anyone else had the same question.

When will I see my Free Electricity credit on my bill?

We'll calculate your Free Electricity credit based on how much electricity you used during the Free Electricity event and the unit rate on your tariff at that time.

Your credit will usually be added to your EDF account during the first week of the month after the event takes place. For example, if you take part in an event in October, you'll normally see the credit added in the first week of November.

To calculate your credit, we need complete smart meter readings from the event period. If your readings are missing, delayed or incomplete, we may not be able to apply a credit.

Any credit will be added directly to your EDF account and can't be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or moved to another energy account.

If we ever make a mistake and credit too much or too little, we'll correct this by adjusting future credits or your account balance where needed.
