Not sure if I'm missing something, but if I enter my current deal (Octopus Flexible) in MSE Cheap Energy Club, it doesn't give me a comparison vs Octopus fixed. Is this correct?

Huge electricity bill because we could not access our meter
Hi all, I'm new on here so please bear with me. At the end of May, my housemate and I moved into a new flat. We were shown where the meter was and told that all of our utilities were done through Ginger Energy. We promptly took meter readings and set up our account. Fast forward two months later, and our estate agents…

Off peak times inaccurate.
My electricity supplier is British Gas. I am on Economy 7. On this tariff, off-peak periods are from 1am to 8am during British summer time. But the off-peak indicator lights on the night storage heaters are staying on until 9am. So there obviously is some kind of timing fault. Could anyone tell me what it could be? Thanks.

Eon Next Fixed or Pledge?
Our Eon Next tariff is up for renewal (currently on Next Pledge Tracker 12m V1), and they are offering a 12 month fixed tariff (Next Secure Fixed 12m v17) or the newer Pledge v5. Guy Lipman Smart Meter Data Site is Gone
Found out today that the Guy Lipman site where I was getting my Smart Meter data is now gone! It also had some good analysis of the data (both electricity and gas) and allowed me…
