When do you think energy companies will announce the 1st April prices for people on fixes?
How long will they leave it? Or is the plan to try and get away without offering the reduction? Citing “extraordinary circumstances”, “challenging conditions”, etc I’d like to know how much I’ll be paying.

Credit fee
Hi everyone, Last year I was with Utility Warehouse for gas/elect/broadband but I had so many problems with them that I ended up taking them to the Ombudsman, which I won. I am now with a better energy supplier, and have been for 3 months, but now I am receiving letters saying that I owe UW £6 in credit fee? What is credit…

I've jsut moved in and want to switch providers
Hello I'm a first-time buyer and have just moved into my new home. The gas and electricity suppliers are British Gas and I've looked at setting up a tariff directly through them. However, their options - whether fixed or variable - are way more expensive than what I've seen on comparison sites (including some other British…

hi. I noticed my usage on my bills were not the same as what they are charging me. Basically the smart meter went dumb for probably two years. BG are now sending me bills for £1600 as back payment. Are they allowed to do this as I thought they could only back pay for a certain amount of time? Many thanks

My switch went through yesterday(21st March) but at the moment I am unable to move across to IGO as…

Switching from octopus to eon

I've been with them a few weeks so when I spoke to Fuse they said they had tried to push out the missing data to it from my first day with…

SSEN vs British Gas – meter tails upgrade responsibility?
Hi all, looking for some advice as I’m getting nowhere and keep being passed between companies. All I wanted to do was install an EV charging point. As part of the process, SSEN (the DNO) carried out a load check, upgraded the cut-out fuse from 60A to 80A, and then told me that the meter tails (the cables between the…

Octopus Cosy heat pump and Intelligent Octopus GO tariff
I already own an EV and next week Octopus are installing a Cosy heat pump. My calculations indicate that I will be better off upgrading from GO to IOG than switching to the Cosy Octopus tariff. Best way to dispute energy and utility bills?
I've been overcharged by my energy supplier and broadband provider a few times this year. The process of disputing them is painful, hours on hold, having to quote regulations, escalating to managers. Has anyone found a good way to automate this or make it less painful? I know there's Resolver and Citizen's Advice but I'm…
