To fix now or wait until July?
I have octopus 16m fixed gas&electricity until June/july. I was looking to switch to the smart EDF tarriff where there's a lower standing charge rate. My daily electricity usage is from £0.47-1.20 per day and gas is ever only max £1.50 a day (excluding standing charges)
Should I be looking to move now or wait?

Impossible to say, with the current volatile situation. You'll get a decrease in your unit rate from April 1st to the end of the fix. However, as far as SC is concerned, they are going up in some areas, down in others and remaining the same elsewhere, from April 1st, so that EDF SC may, or may not, go up.
I think I'd enjoy the known modest savings and hope for the best when the the fix ends. We might have all gone up in smoke by then!

I'm tempted to refix there's some good 16M options tbf as a low energy user price hikes do make a massive difference
