Mobile phone contract with less than 2 years' UK residency?
Hi. I'm a returning UK expat and have only been back in the UK since December 2019. As I'd been abroad for 27 years, I'm now trying to improve my lean credit history. Taking out a mobile phone contract seems to be one good way of doing this but I'm having trouble finding a provider who'll accept only 15-ish months of UK…

Charged for accidental International Call anyway to get around it?
Previously this weekend, i called a girl from america for a good 2 hours or so believing i was doing it through facetime audio but i had actually done it through a normal call. As such i’ve been charged £166 for doing so. My mum pays my bill and our relationship at the minute is very tense and i’m fearing what this could…

Vodafone Dongle Fees from before 2016 - are they reclaimable?
I asked for the dongle that I thought was free to be cancelled, but it wasn't. The whole thing started in 2013 and finally cancelled properly (I think) in 2018. I have the link to my bills at the time, but as it was a long time ago, the older ones are no longer accessable.I've just spent quite a long time on the phone to…

Sky renewals
After following Martin''s guidance regarding haggling, my attempt today was met with a pretty negative response. Sure they offered a few quid off but after 17 years, their VIP membership did not qualify for much in real terms. I dumped Sky Q, a mini box and other add ons, and a simple trawl for phone and broadband got me…
