Hi I am with Tesco mobile and a close friends wants to switch from a PAYG account with o2 to a sim only deal with Tesco We spent sometime today trying to sign her up but when it came to the payment bit they couldn’t verify her credit rating. Vodafone Debt Collection Agency letter out of the blue
My wife had a pay monthly contract with Vodafone for over 20
years, generally upgrading her phone every 2 years. In that time she never
missed a single direct debit payment. In mid Dec 2018 she took out a new 2 year contract with a
new Samsung phone. The “minimum
commitment date” on the contract was
until the 17 Dec 2020.…

I received an email from Three informing me that as my 12 month contract has ended they will no longer be able to offer me the price I'm currently paying (£11 a month). Worryingly, they have told me if I do nothing I will be placed on a monthly rolling plan costing £20 a month. Alternatively, I have the option of taking…

To my delight they have not only done a £10 discount but also a £9 discount too. Now what?? If I don't correct this do I end up with a…

O2 and Vodafone actually share cell towers on 4G - Project Beacon
I don't understand why there's not that much information about this online or even mentioned on the MoneySavingExpert Blogs, but if you are comparing networks, it is worth taking into account that Vodafone and O2 actually share their 4G masts, so both networks get the best of both worlds. I tested this myself via ordering…

PAC transfer took 14 days to complete - compensation?
When transferring my mobile number to a new network my PAC transfer took 14 days to complete due to 'it failing' and required a lot of chasing up on my behalf. Can you change numbers at any time on a new contract?
After always being PAYG I took a contract. Had the new phone + SIM for a month or so without using yet as I've had some credit to use up. Can I use the new SIM with its own number for a while before requesting to swap to my existing number, or should I do that straightaway? Or have I already left it too late?! Thanks
