Hasn't there been something about clubcard holders being exempt from in contract price changes in future?0

I wouldn't put it passed them altering the T&C's so they can increase the monthly fee for the data and calls packages.Someone please tell me what money is0

TM were one of the very few mobile operators to offer fixed price contracts. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I have received the notification that (if I do nothing) the price will increase from April and then each April by RPI +3.9%.
Can anyone understand or explain why these inflation adjustments should be inflation PLUS?
I never understand that part of it whatever type of contract it is.
I have always found Tesco Mobile to be very fair in the past in that there are no mid-contract rises plus the price always just carried out once the contract period ended.
That was always against a back-drop of mobile contract prices falling (or more texts / minutes / data for the same price).
I am out of contract, so the switch by Tesco Mobile is a timely prompt for me to look at whether I still have the best deal. I have not looked yet and the devil will be in the detail I suspect. My current contract includes roaming. I have yet to check whether new contracts include that.1 -
Just looked at the Tesco site.
My current contract is £10 per month, £9 per months CC price. EU roaming included.
If I do nothing, that will increase by 14.4%.
Does that mean £11.44?
OR does that mean the CC price will stay but increase, so £10.30
If I switch, the same package is £10 per month, no CC price, 24 month contract
A change to "EU roaming until late Spring 2023" whenever that means.
If I can do nothing, stay on the CC price, but accept the increase to £10.30 and still keep EU roaming that seems to be just as good as switching to get the 24-month price fix.
I must find out whether the inflation will be to the current CC price or the current "standard" price and whether the roaming stays on the current contract for ever.0 -
I was hit by a few price rises by tesco mobile. But I was on sim only and got fed up of it. I've now switched to VOXI which has been cheaper and I've not been hit by any horrible price rises either0
